What is Serenity

A community worth defending

Serenity is a place to interact, trade, talk, and build. A small, friendly order trying to keep things human in a world that usually isn’t.

We’re not against conflict; we’re against pointless conflict. Make a deal, share a campfire, defend a base worth defending, and maybe make a friend who doesn’t immediately rob you.

The Elephant in the Room: KOS

Accidents happen. Someone gets startled, someone gets shot, someone insists “it was a warning shot” (it wasn’t). That’s fine. Nobody’s perfect. What we’re really avoiding is mindless thrill kills. Before you pull the trigger, ask: is this KOS shot really my best option? We’re building something different: a place to interact, trade, talk, and maybe make a friend who doesn’t immediately rob you. Still wondering “so is KOS allowed or not?” Then you’re probably in the wrong place. No hard feelings, just a gentle nudge toward the door.

Base Raiding

A fun experiment: treat other players and their possessions the way you’d like to be treated. Weird concept, we know. Trade instead of raid, start a conversation in Global Chat or on Discord, and help us build a community worth defending. And if raiding for the pure thrill of it is what you love most, no judgement at all. There are great servers built for exactly that, and you’d have a blast. We’ll even wish you happy hunting on your way out.

Community Rules

The short list of things that keep the camp civil:

  • Primary server language is English, in text and voice.
  • All Discord and in-game names and avatars must be appropriate.
  • No trolling or spamming the Discord.
  • No controversial NSFW topics: religion, politics, and sexual harassment stay out.
  • No advertising on the Discord or game server without permission.

The One Rule to Remember

Be nice. Be respectful. Or be gone.

(Preferably walking. Less paperwork for us.)

Basically: don’t be a dick. Relax, play, and most importantly, have fun.
How to Join

Get in the world

Serenity is lightly modded, and the DZSA Launcher does the heavy lifting. Three steps and you're in.

    Install the DZSA Launcher

    Grab the DZSA Launcher and install it. It handles the lightly modded set for you, no manual mod wrangling and no Workshop scavenger hunt.

    Find Serenity

    In DZSA, search the server list for “Serenity”, or skip ahead and add the address 37.156.35.34:2302 directly to your favourites.

  3. 3

    Launch & connect

    Hit launch. DZSA downloads the mods automatically, then drops you straight onto the server. That’s it. Welcome to Serenity.

Your first 10 minutes

  • Say hi in Global Chat or on Discord. We don’t bite (mostly).
  • Get your bearings, grab some starter gear, and find the nearest campfire or trader.
  • Meet someone on the road? Talk first. Most people here would rather deal than duel.
  • Lost, stuck, or unsure? Ask in Discord. Someone’s usually around to point you north.
